Large Gripples Wire Joiners
Note: Item qualifies for free shipping from our warehouse. Other restrictions apply. Please contact us for larger quantities.
Description:
Large Gripple wire joiners are ideal for connecting or splicing wire, often found in trellising, field, electrical, agricultural, and chain link fencing. Each Gripple slides onto the wire by pushing the Gripple Fastener onto the wire. Once onto the wire, the Gripple remains in place because of its one way gripping mechanism. Adjustment of the Gripple is easy, simply use the release key to adjust the Gripple as needed. Note, release keys are included with every order.
Key Features:
Size: Large
Capacity: 10-7.5 GA
Component: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, & Nylon
Working Load: 1320 LB/ea.
Common Application: Plain wire, trellis wire, field fence, or electrical fence
Release Key Included: YES
HOW DO THEY WORK?
The Gripple itself is an aluminum cast fitting that contains an internal push-pull system that allows for the fitting to freely slide onto the wire in one direction. Adjustment can be made by using the release key, allowing the fitting to freely slide into position until the key is removed.
Used these to pit tension and brace between posts on my pole barn. So simple it makes life easy. And you have the ability to simply adjust where necessary.

Best $76.20 you'll spend in the entirety of your lifespan.
What kind of weird space age, Mil-Spec polymer is this thing made of? I'll tell ya - The magic kind! I've grippled hundreds of 1/4 inch cables through G6 gripples with this thing, in the rain, sleet, snow, and 130° summer heat. She never falters. Lost her in a ditch one time for a year and a half, only to find it buried in hard mud. Didn't even hose it off, I just tightened 5 miles of fence braces with it, and it cleaned itself. No problem, squeeze her til she clicks! A cougar surprised me one morning in the tree-line and was sizing me up, I threw this thing at it as hard as I could... no problem. Put it in your fence bucket so you don't forget it. I'll admit to using it in a pinch for a hammer on a staple or 2, but wouldn't advise it. I feel that this tool is thousands of dollars under-priced. -JC
