Mushroom style gate stops are designed for chain link style gates. The gate stop is mounted on top of concrete, with the stem set in concrete. It works by sitting above and pushing the gate up and into the crevice.

It worked fine, but I'd like to see the center stem on the bottom be threaded so you can easily put a pipe on for a stem.

Steady

Drilled hole and roll pinned it to a piece of rigid metal pipe. Dug hole and concreted the pipe in the hole. Pegged the door to it the next day. Works great the door doesn’t blow in the barn now. Great cast iron piece to hold the door.
